The South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center (SMDCAC) launched a Miami-based project for local artists to showcase their talents. The project, titled SMDCAC Sessions, supports local artists in Miami financially, emotionally, and creatively during this difficult time. This virtual cabaret is an opportunity for the selected artists to showcase their talents and promote themselves to a larger audience.

Miami City Ballet is a globally renown Professional Ballet Company that also happens to be a Florida Small Business with over 50 dancers performing over 130 works. They also support a ballet school where learning dancers in the Miami-Dade community are coached by company dancers.

Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens was thrilled to re-open recently with the Robert Reedy: Revival exhibition. Their artist Q&A was conducted via Facebook.  Founded in 1961, the museum holds an art col­lec­tion focus­ing pri­mar­ily on Amer­i­can rep­re­sen­ta­tional sculp­ture, with over 200 works by Czech-born Amer­i­can sculp­tor Albin Polasek and is Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Since its founding in 1973, Florida Studio Theatre has known the importance of the arts to the human  soul. Before isolation was a thing we all had in common, FST has toured to isolated audiences in nursing homes, community centers, migrant camps and prisons.

FST produced its first week-long New Play Festival in 1983. Now they receive over 1000 plays from adults and more than 4000 plays from children annually.
